| INVERTER
The
cylinders are clamped in a frame by compressed-air cylinders, a
worm gear motor of 1.1 kW upends the cylinders through a strong
chain gear (25 mm - 1"). The whole operation takes only 10 seconds.
The inverter is equipped with a protective grille on three of the
sides. Inverters can be made for 4, 6, 8 or 10 cylinders.
We have made inverters for
cylinders with a maximum diameter of 450 mm. In the same way, we
have made special inverters for smaller cylinders (up to 170 mm
diameter). Manual inverters can also be made for single cylinders.
DRYING UNIT
This dryer is of the conventional
type. Air is heated by a 10 kw electric element and blown into the
cylinders, using a high-pressure fan. A timer allows the air heater
to be switched off after a predetermined time.
PRESSURE TESTING UNIT
Pressure
testing equipment up to 450 bar, consisting of one inverter driven
by an electric motor, filling heads for water, high pressure quick
connections, emptying nozzle with automatic valve, suspension device
for hoses, low-pressure pipe for connection to the water supply
pipe, high-pressure pipe for connection to the pressure-testing
pump and protective grille.
Using our high-pressure pump
(pressure booster) and compressed air for emptying, one man can
fill, pressure test and empty 60 cylinders (50 litre) an hour if
the pressure is maintained for 20 seconds, and if the flow in the
water supply pipe is normal. A through and a low pressure pump is
also available to permit reuse of the water.
The pressure testing equipment
is normally made to hold 6 cylinders with a maximum diameter of
240 mm and a maximum length of 1650 mm. But we can make special
inverters for up to 10 cylinders. In the same way we can make equipment
for a maximum diameter of 450 mm.
HIGH PRESSURE TEST PUMP,
PRESSURE BOOSTER
This
pressure-testing pump consist in principle of a pressure booster
with gear pump, oil pump and pipelines. There are no valves, so
that the necessary quantity of water at a pressure 0f 300 or 450
bar can be delivered with a single stroke. It is possible to fill
six 50 litre cylinders up to 300 bar in 27 seconds. The pressure
rises very steadily the whole time without any shocks. The pump
is connected to a press-o-stat which stops the motor at exactly
the right pressure.
Apart from the gear pump, the
only moving part is the piston, which means that service and maintenance
are reduced to an absolute minimum.

MAXIMATOR
Pneumatically powered pressure
testing pump Maximator G60 or GX60 for a test pressure up to 450
bar.
The pump is mounted on a stand
complete with precision pressure gauge and high-pressure tubes of
stainless steel, low-pressure tubes, hand-operated ball valves,
water filter, filter regulator for compressed air and an extra connection
for a calibration pressure gauge. The pump is started and stopped
manually, but can be equipped with a pressure switch. The pump is
supplied without a pneumatic compressor.
