| Today
we can offer you a full range of equipment for the maintenance of
gas cylinders. Look around for a while, or just order our
catalogue (free of charge).
"Your Safety
is our Concern, Are you sure your CNG cylinder which your kids go
in is safe."
Although the CNG kit is simple
and practically maintenance-free, the following tips can help you
to gain the maximum from the use of CNG:
After conversion, the vehicle
may have to be brought to the workshop for tuning on gas after 1,000
km to 1,500 km running as diaphragms and other parts require this
much usage before settling down.
CYLINDER TESTING
As per the requirement of Chief
Controller of Explosives, the CNG cylinder should be hydro tested
at an authorised testing shop every five years.
RE-CHECKING OF THE CNG KIT
SYSTEM
You should take the vehicle
for annual inspection to a CNG conversion workshop. The motorist
should obtain a certificate from the workshop that the CNG system
is found installed properly. Motorists may be required to produce
this certificate at the time of CNG filling.
Experience of other countries
has shown that life of lubricating oil is extended because CNG does
not contaminate and dilute the crankcase oil. The plug life is also
extended due to elimination of lead fouling.
VALVING
MACHINE
The Valving machine can be
used for gas cylinders with oxygen, carbon dioxide, chlorine, ammonia,
acetylene, LP-gas, freon gas etc., and fire extinguishers.
The machine is now delivered
with a cage and sliding door for reasons of safety. All valves are
inserted to a predetermined torque setting (120-600 Nm). When this
torque has been obtained and the machine has stopped, it is possible
to start and stop again when the valve comes in a particular position
in relation to the cylinder.
When a valve is being removed
the whole power of the motor is available (1000 Nm). The machine
is extremely robust and no spare parts are needed.
CLEANING AND PAINTING MACHINE
The
Machine is supplied with a protective grille on 4 sides. The machine
is accessible through an opening protected by a gate. The motor
stops as soon as this gate is opened. The start button must be pressed
to start the machine again. It is not sufficient to close the gate.
With this machine it is possible to clean and remove rust from a
gas cylinder without removing any paint in good condition.
The
gas cylinder is placed on a turn-table
which is driven by a geared motor let into the floor at a speed
of 75 rpm. The two wire brushes, each driven by a 1.1 kW, 2800 rpm
motor, are carried on an arm and applied to the cylinder by spring
pressure when the arm is swung to the working position. The arm
with motors runs along a vertical guide rail by means of ball bearings.
The speed of the brush arm
can be controlled with a mechanical feed device or a frequency converter
where the feed rate can be steplessly controlled, and the brush
arm return automatically to the rest position. The brush arm can
be moved manually, which is of importance, when only a part of the
cylinder (for example shoulder) should be cleaned.
After
the cylinder has been cleaned, the door is opened, and the brush
motors stop automatically. While the cylinder is still rotating,
it is painted with an ordinary 25 cm wide roller which only has
to be dipped into the paint trough once per cylinder.
The paint is distributed very
evenly, and there is no spillage as when spray painting. The only
parts that need to be replaced after a time are the brushes.
Please note: The cleaning
and painting machine must be connected to a dust extractor unit
or a filter box.
We
can offer machines solely for painting - both fixed and mobile.
The fixed version can be made for one or more cylinders. For acetylene,
hydrogen and butane propane cylinders an explosion-proof machine
type is used.
This photograph shows that
Before/After the machine cleans not only the cylindrical part but
also the bottom and shoulder.
